I keep wandering in and out as I watch parts of the game and do chores. If this has been addressed excuse the redundancy but I enjoy Troy's announcing team on ESPN+. Knowledgeable, pleasant to listen to, informative while being moderate homers who are always fair to Tulane.
I would be cool if our broadcasts reached these standards. It is very very hard for any broadcast professional to carry effectively a 3+ hour broadcast solo like AA is asked to do. Get him some help.

Last night I commented that they were pretty good, especially once they learned how to pronounce Minder’s name.

Overall, Troy’s video production, like most, is much better than ours. They have replay, pitch counts and other useful graphics.

maybe we haven't had a good one but I felt the last few times our broadcasts had a color guy he didn't really add anything. addition by subtraction letting 1 person paint the narrative at least thats how I feel

That can be a workable standard. It's just harder. Regardless as noted above, I wish we had production values equal to Troy's: namely replays.

Yes. I assume Troy has more than a fledgling student production program and has worked with ESPN enough in the past to know what they're doing. We could definitely learn from them

I prefer AA to the Troy guys. AA is no Todd Grafagnini, but he's thorough and easy to understand, plus he doesn't drift off on wild speculations and he knows how to pronounce out players' names. I've synced him with the video feed, and I'm enjoying the broadcast.
I really dislike having a "color analyst" for baseball broadcasts. They seldom add anything, and they often distract the p-b-p guy and make him lose some of the info I'm listening for. Also, with two people calling the game, they have a tendency to ramble instead of paying close attention to the game.

All AA does is drift off. These guys are so much better.

Engelhard did over-slide, but he got his knee on the bag. That was a terribly blown call by the ump. Hart's over-slide earlier was a bad call as well, but at least it was closer, and we could not get a real good view of it.

During the uno game he gave us a full recap of Blake Dean’s lsu days.
