Stats pages show it as 1B, but the pitcher clearly was going to field the popup, and either the 1b or 3b (or both, simultaneously?) called him off. The ball dropped to the ground. I'd be hard-pressed to decide who to charge with the E, but I don't think it should be the p.

Mostly, I had no idea who to credit it to because the *entire* infield was on the ball, but officially it's for naught as the (baffling, I think) ruling is a singleRoller wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 7:53 pmStats pages show it as 1B, but the pitcher clearly was going to field the popup, and either the 1b or 3b (or both, simultaneously?) called him off. Re: Wave v. Texas Southern
La Tech up 7-1 on #4 Ole Miss. factoring in the sec overrating, it’s reasonably possible we could lose 2 if not all 3 this weekend. A sweep would be big as Tech’s RPI was 25 before tonight.

they bring in a righty.
Hard to believe that this team which all but flinches fielding fly balls and can't throw strikes had the biggest upset of 2020's campaign

Btw, I love that we have instant replay tonight. Odd that Troy’s production was so good but didn’t have umpire replay capabilities.

They had only two cameras (CF and Home Plate), so they couldn't tell much. I often wish we had at least 2 more cameras, but then we'd need an extensive control room to coordinate them.
