Did They say that Olthoff is hurt? Someone on the other board said arm fatigue

This Memphis pitcher is bad. Real bad

If I'm Olthoff my arm might be fatigued for a while

They walk in a run, then aviles hits a double. Two runs score, but TJ felt like we might be scoring too much at once without giving Memphis a break. So he sends Niemann who is promptly thrown out at home by a mile. Good times.

We lead 3-1

Some would say we haven't played a full 9 all year.

We run ourselves out of more big innings then any team I have ever seen. Why are we getting a guy thrown out at the plate with no outs.

I've always wondered how how both coaches and athletes at this level suddenly forget how to play a sport that they have spent a decade or more immersed in. I can forgive it at the high school level but at D1 it's your job.
After you've been on fire under Arctic pack ice everything else is a walk in the park.

Well thank goodness we got Nieman thrown at at home. We wouldn't want to have 0 outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd. Much better to only be up 3-1.

Every moment Jewett occupies the dugout is another moment wasted for the program.

Normally I wouldn’t see the need for a mid season firing but I need to know as soon as possible that he’s not going to be around next year.

Color guy leaning into the pre-season vs conference play. I'm glad we didn't go 15-2 in conference last year. Might have a reason to keep TJ around

Yeah I doubt that a mid-season move fixes anything but it sure would be nice to know its coming.

I know we are deep in agitation with the boneheadedness we see on the field, in the dugout, and in the bullpen, but if you try dispassionately to look at our situation from afar no one is going to get fired mid season for having a record a few games under 0.500. Yes, we know how fragile that record is and how it will probably get worse barring a miracle but it's just not going to happen.

I Know. I’m just worried that TD will bring him back next year.
