When we played the first WSU game, we were high 70s RPI and they were in the 40s. A week later and we are in the high 60s and WSU is now in the 70s. It’s fun to watch the RPI change throughout the day as games of past opponents are completed.

Memphis is currently 155 which will hurt us but not as bad as Houston who is currently 218.

This is a good thing (at least until the absurd RPI formula considers it.)

I get the concept of RPI but I hate it. Any loss to Houston could really hurt RPI. I don’t care how bad a conference opponent is, beating them 4 times in 3 days is not easy.

Burns leads off with an infield single. What's his hit-streak at now?

Burns may have slightly injured himself diving into 1st base to beat the throw.

5-5 with a hit batter to start. So much for this guy being their ace as the announcers said yesterday.

We promptly bunt. Odd.

In pregame chatter, the announcers said that Durham had some medical issues early, but has come along and is probably Memphis' Ace.
Wonder if he still feels that way.

Bunting to bring Hart to the plate was beyond stupid. Way to kill a rally, Jewett.

Hart Ks. I just don't get giving the guy an out with the bunt. We could have had a beyond a huge inning. Now he has a chance to keep the damage at 4.

Groff comes through and it is 6-0. Those 2 feel huge.

Bunting against a guy that hasn’t shown the ability to actually get anyone out is crazy

Huge 2-run single makes the stupid bunt not hurt us.

6-0 Wave.
