Tulane vs Houston, game # 4

Post by NJwave »

Feels almost like a must win. Chance to stay in first, win another conference series and keep RPI in the 60s.

Didn’t realize that was Houston’s first road conference win

Laprarie Ks after swinging at balls 4 and 5 then Bennett Lee Ks on a couple bad pitches. It finally took the 4th starter on the second worse team in the conference to figure Lee out

Bennett might be a little tired. This is a lot of baseball in 2 days being behind the dish.

Honestly, losing the winning streak before we head to ECU for the biggest series we've played in a long time isn't the worst thing in the world. We need to worry about playing good baseball and winning 2-3 games next weekend, without any type of pressure to extend a long winning streak.

Hart looked like he was out by 5 feet on that steal attempt. Did he slide around the tag?

I was thinking similarly in the sense that we gotta keep the urgency up. I love love love the way we have responded early tonight. Now gotta finish and carry it forward!
