Been watching in between doing stuff in the yard. I watched us score 2 to cut it to a 1 run lead and looked away for 30 seconds and we are down 6 then I got to see the balk score a run.

Glad the weather here is hot and humid so it gives our New Orleans guys the advantage!
(at least that's what I heard)

11-6 as their reliever hits two and gives up two hits. Nobody out runners on first and second.

They won’t be showing this one in any pitching videos.

Bases loaded nobody out and we don’t score off a reliever making second appearance of the season. Just wow.

We have given up double digit runs in each game (43 if anyone is counting). What is going on with our pitching staff? And where is Keagan? He needs the work at the very least.

That was a great play by their 3rd baseman but we have to get a timely hit in that spot

12-6. Pitching has been brutal.

Why has Gillies not even thrown a pitch this weekend?

Starting Tuesday? He’s improved this season, but he’s not as good as opposing announcers seem to think he is. He’s a one time through the order guy. Hitters figure him out pretty quickly.

Only logical thing would be at this point TJ is indeed saving him for the tourney to start.

Which of course means he'll probably pitch the 8th and 9th today and not be available for the tourney.

Gillies warming up. Maybe getting some reps so he can start Tuesday or Wednesday?

From my post above to TJ's ears. Bring him in, burn him in a loss, and have no fresh arms available in the tourney.

Bases clearing double followed by a 2-run HR by Engelhard makes it 13-12. Two outs in the 9th.
