Tulane vs UNO (City Championship)

Unread post by NJwave »

I received multiple emails about promotions for tonight’s pelican cup winner take’s all game. We won’t win the AAC, but perhaps we can win the title of “Best team in Nrw Orleans.”

No Groff in the lineup. Teo Banks gets the start. At the very least I hope we get to see the kid play the next 11 games.

They beat the shift. 1 on and 1 out.

Robinson strikes out two and looks good early.

No score bottom 1st.

It would be interesting to know how often the shift worked or failed this year.

Jackson Linn home run. 3-0. We really do have a great freshman class.

What kind of pitching do we have coming in next year?

After 45 games of terrible fielding from Minder at short and little hitting from Hebert he decided to try something new.

At least Hart os good on defense. 3b has been a mystery

Why we keep trotting this guy out there to get hit hard midweek is beyond me. I guess we don’t have many other options.

That’s it for Robinson 2 batters too late.

I want to see stats on the number of first batter walks our relievers have issued. It seems to happen all the time.

Slagel gets out of it. Bottom 3, tied at 3.

Wow. That's pretty much the season then. Probably the 2 worst players to lose.

Maybe Banks can take the place of both.

I don’t know. How does his defensive abilities rate? Good arm, good speed, good range? We know he can hit and has power. Just wonder what the scouts think of him defensively.

Sounds like broken thumb or torn ligament in thumb for Groff. I don’t think they definitively said what DeVito’s injury is. Doesn’t sound like will need Tommy John or anything like that.

Why doesn’t Hart do anything to take advantage of his speed like bunt for a base hit?

If Groff can’t play all summer will that really drop where/if he is drafted?

Double for Teo. Nice swing.

Lee hits in to a double play. He really has struggled all year.

I think they said it was DeVito’s elbow.
