Robinson walks the first two he sees and it is 8-6. Here comes the fastball right over the plate and it is 12-6.

Leave Jewett in Kansas. This inning is typical him. Shifts that down work, calling obvious pitches and leaving a guy in that can’t get anybody out.

Get Robinson out. 2 walks, a home run and a double. He is horrible.

Wichita State players doing what best can be described as the “We aren’t as bad as Tulane” dance or the “hit a popup to short mambo.”

Called strike 3 on full count. Chance to get out of it.

7-6 because of the stupid shift. Outside pitch where batter had no where to place but where the hole was. At least call pitch that plays towards the shift.

Jewett tossed. Apparently even he can’t stand his coaching.

You guys are looking at it wrong. Jewett is just making Dannon’s decision easier.

Jewett is ejected as he was trying to buy time to give Sanchez to get more time to warm up.

Total incompetence.

22 total hits and 18 runs and we are still in the 4th inning. It is going to be a long day boys. Looks like throwing soft toss in the cage. Jewett looks like he has thrown up the surrender flag already. Typical of him.

He could stay with our friend Gerry. Some southern hospitality in Wichita.

It works 90% of the time if you know what you are doing. Our coach doesn’t know which way to shift and he has no clue how to throw into the shift.

Up 6 and their pitcher walks the first two. At least it isn’t just us.

1-0 Tulane without Jewett.

Unfortunately, 12-7 overall.

I meant our shift which is never used correctly and we don’t know how to pitch into it.

12-7 bottom 5. It will be interesting to see who pitches the rest of the game.

I wonder if Jewett remembered to pencil in Laprerie to LF in the 8th inning on the lineup card.

The announcers are indirectly pointing out we are badly coached.

Who is coaching 3rd base now? I assume he’s also giving the signs?

Core. Usually first base coach.

Sanchez losing his command. It’s why he hasn’t pitched much all year.

Followed by a gopher ball.

15-7.

Couple more runs in this or the next inning and the whole team will get an early exit.

This feels like we’re heading toward at Scelfo vs. USM level meltdown.
