those aren't bros and those aren't hipsters. The bros would be too nervous to look that stupid (and that looks really stupid) and the hipsters are more into repurposing things.

This.

The outfit is horrendous, and the fact that I've seen a couple of college aged girls tweet that they like the look is stupefying, but this doesn't qualify for bro OR hipster

bro-hipster definitely is an oxymoron, although I'm starting to see some (minor, but still surprising) hipster influence on bro culture at Tulane.

But I still attest that these onesies are neither bro or hipster

Haters gonna hate. I might just buy me the paint splatter pair to spite you all. Wear it to a baseball game.

I'd bet North Carolina bands the man romper as a slight against the GBT community. 8)

why would you bother coining a new term when a$$clown is so readily available and applicable?

Also: http://nypost.com/2017/05/16/why-romper ... o-garment/
there’s nothing bros love more than donning humiliating outfits for the sake of a good time. (See: Pajamas, Santa suits, T-shirts with dumb catchphrases.) Actually, it’s astounding that it took them so long to discover the romper’s ungainly, infantile charm.

Infantile charm doesn't last long if it's slightly undersized and you have a constant wedgie. In back AND front.
