My only, my favorite, Batman. Cheesy, campy and all.
The TV series Batman premiered a few days after I had open heart surgery in January 1966 and gave me something to look forward to by the weeks of hype before. This 9 year old got the cheesiness and snarkiness of it. It was my Mad Magazine on TV.
Godspeed, Batman.

that show was on so many A list actors' "want to do" list.. hence the many huge name actors playing "special guest villain"... guys like Milton Berle, Van Johnson, Art Carney, Cliff Robertson in addition to regulars like Cesar Romero and Burgess Meredith.. and many huge celebs popping out the window when they were doing their bat rope climbTUPF wrote:My only, my favorite, Batman.
