UL becomes 3rd R1

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is now along with Tulane and LSU a Carnegie R-1 listed university….great news for higher education in the state and hopefully we will put the funding to better use than our public neighbors in Baton Rouge! Great leadership from president down to head football coaching….Geaux Cajuns!

I was wondering why we cared about Louisville so much but realized this was ULL, not UL, we were talking about.

When ULL gets an AAU invite I may deign to pretend to care ULL exists.

That is indeed good news for ULL (and for education in Louisiana) but why the heck is this on the Tulane academics/campus news board? And why are you ending in geaux cajuns? You really don't do much to help y'all's cause.
