I guess this is what you get with a young team. They look great at times and look, well, not so great at others.

It's nice that the team battles, but if they don't comeback, a loss is a loss. Right now we've scored 2 runs in the last 19 innings.

Why did RJ leave Flynn in to start the 8th?

Why did RJ leave Flynn in to start the 8th?
I think it is because our Bullpen doesn't have a rock solid "Set-Up Guy". We end up going a little longer with a hot starter. I thought keeping Flynn in was the right move compared the usual alternatives.

No problem with him starting the inning and he also had 2 outs with a runner on 1st. After the next hit though I would have pulled him (before the walk).

I think we do, Claiborne. That said, I agree with Flynn starting the 8th, but he was left in 1 batter too long.

Hmmm...the only think curiouser than sacificing Cohan was Marshall's decision to walk Segedin.

Marshall's Coach may have just been guilty of leaving his Pitcher in one batter too long.

Great At-Bat's in the 9th!
