If we would have just gotten some points out of the last drive...

Never mind, we would have had to kick-off. It would have been a different scenario.

we've seen that not work before.

Still no first downs. Two red zone pics and another slapstick comedy on KO returns or this game would be 28-27 MU at best.

C'mon my friend...
No decision to fire or retain a coach is easy for any University and Athletic Department. You know this more than most. For Tulane at this "moment and time" the decision is seriously important with huge ramifications.

So easy? No...

And yes, we all will be better soon

I would like to make a comment about all the mistakes the players are making. Players usually make mistakes when they either are asked to do something they can't do or are not prepared/practiced to do what is planned. Some time they just mess up, but if there are a lot of mistakes then its usually has to do with coaching.

I see the same fight in Griffin, but his throws look like their coming from someone who is throwing injured, not just hurting. I agree with all who say, you play the healthy QB.

Toledo gave DJ Ponder a Scholly, I would like to see him play. Next year I think Bullock will be the backup though.

Punting it away in Marshall's side of the field. It was only fourth and 12. If Griffin and Darkwa take the field again in this game, Toledo should be prosecuted for attempted manslaughter.

Punting there means BT has thrown in the towel. Disgusting.

Now that we've waved the white flag, or now that the coaches have, I hope MU goes on a long drive here. Take as much time off the field as possible.

Were you being sarcastic? How in the world could you think that from the comment I made? I was 100% sincere when I wrote that. Perhaps you should read the posts slower, so that you will understand them.

Sorry, I forgot my smiley. With 90% of the posters on this forum here for amateur night comedy, I was actually agreeing with you.

Down 3 Possessions, that punt in Marshall territory (which netted 20 yards?) means one thing to me. We are trying to prevent the blow out - not to win.

I thought that 2 punts ago. Of course, I've thought we punted in late game situations when trailing way too much all season. So I don't know if it's throwing in the towel or just his philosophy (which I clearly disagree with).

MU almost gets their first FD of the 2nd half on a penalty. Rekick.

Griffin is still out there. Man. Why then punt on the last series.

Darkwa is still out there. Gee whiz. CBT's head is in another time.

That's why you go for it on that last possession...

Marshall is wanting us to take this game.
