It's now 3-12. I think this one can be phoned in, unless our bats can wake up. Write the article; just leave the actual scores blank for now.
Yeah, this one is over. Gotta win the next two now.
Pitching just hasn't been consistent enough this season. It's been pretty bad, honestly.

Wow. What's his situation? Will he be able to catch again this season? Or just be available as a DH?
I'm pretty confident we'll see him behind the pate before too long, but I haven't heard anything specific, one way or the other. I'd think that being able to bat and run the bases would make him healthy enough to squat behind the dish for at least a few innings.
Graf says it's getting ugly. When you play cheap-shot the way ECU does, this is what happens.
I have no problem with bunting for a hit, his job is to get on base. This is college baseball, pile up the runs when you can because bullpens are garbage for most teams.

Not when you're up 13-3
! That steps over the line into cheap-shot.

Nevertheless, I DID. And so did Graf. And so did our team.
"Playing the game" includes "Sportsmanship." In-your-face disrespect for your opponent is NOT sportsmanship.
ECU has always been low-life on the field (their fans, in my personal experience, have been very hospitable, but their teams are jerks).
