Houston Game #1
Re: Houston Game #1
8-3 on sac fly.
Hard to believe we were up 3-1 in the 8th.
Oakley hits his first guy. He couldn't throw a strike warming up. Got to feel for this kid. Highly recruited to North Carolina and for whatever reason just can't throw strikes.

Re: Houston Game #1
You have to score more than 3 runs to win in college baseball, especially with this bullpen.

It's lost supermodel effect. Try pitching after losing Adriana Lima....to a NE Patriot no less.sr wrote:Met's Harvey needs to right himself ... He jumping off the deep end.NJwave wrote:Agreed. My Mets aren't looking very good.sr wrote:Thanks NJ for the updates.

Solesky, Issa, Oakley and Schanke all walked guys. Make them at least hit it.
11-3.
Scratch that thought. Julks second home run of the inning. 15-3. 7 RBI in 1 inning for the kid.

Can't TU just lose 4-3...
Re: Houston Game #1
Finally get out of it. 15-3 headed to bottom of 9th. Looks like we will have to start throwing the ball.
Sorry. Practicing for the fall.

Re: Houston Game #1
Now he lets Montalbano get an AB? The kid needs to hit when it counts. Mercifully over.

This tells me a lot about this Coach. The game is totally out of reach - come on JM work some magic.
