This is likely the start of something really good. Tommy Bowden came to Bayou Bluff for a meet and greet in his second year. We then went undefeated. Just sayin'.....

Here's a link to register for this event - http://alumni.tulane.edu/s/1586/Alumni/ ... alcid=4127

This stop is always a great time. Encourage anyone in reasonable driving distance to attend if they can. I know they are working on other coaches schedules to attend as well, but it's great to have Troy and Willie there! Will get an answer to the beer question and report back!

I've flown into Gulfport many times. Gotta go through New Orleans or Mobile, though, so it's probably just as easy/cost-effective to rent a car in N.O. (or Mobile--they're about equi-distant).

Everything to Gulfport goes through Houston or Atlanta. Windy, you can always fly into NO. We're only an hour and 20 minutes from NO.

He's actually a really good guy in person, much different than his online persona. As long as he talks to me instead of posts at me it would be an enjoyable drive. Though I don't know if he has a big enough car for my emu.

To be clear, the there's an event in Cutoff, Louisiana tonight--there's not a cutoff time for registering for the Gulfport event or anything like that, as far as I know.

Correct. The event in Cutoff, LA is tonight. You do not have to register or anything to come to these events. You can just show up. They've asked everyone to register if they can for planning purposes, but do not hesitate to come even if you didn't register. The more Green bodies the better!

If this had been during the semester, I would have gone in a heartbeat when I was out that way anyway. Would love to see our fan numbers go back up out that way.....

FYI - in addition to free beer, there will be free dinner at each of these events. Cutoff tonight, Gulfport on Thursday and Lafayette next week. Encourage people to try and make one (or more!)!

That's good to see. That area is one where we really should have more fans than we do.
