Per his twitter account.

3 star safety out of Florida. De-committed from Louisville earlier this week.

Anderson is rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 58 safety in Florida, according to 247Sports, but he'll play cornerback for the Green Wave.

Mr. Guillory on the ball again.

I like that he was committed to Louisville. Looks like a good one.

Solid rating by 247. I had heard that a DB had committed but was not familiar with this guy.

Great pickup on all fronts. He's now the #2 rated player in this class, narrowly behind Jamiran.

He was actually committed to Louisville for over a year, but looks like they have 3-4 DB commits now of similar/higher rated quality. Smart move to make a jump to get a better position somewhere else.

South Dade is one of 2 high schools in Homestead (about 30 miles south of Miami, which got decimated by Hurricane Andrew and never really recovered). Homestead HS is better known for athletics, especially football. The school is about 60% Hispanic, mostly Mexican-American as is much of Homestead, but a lot of the African-American families live closer to Homestead HS, and recently a lot of the really good athletes have been recruited by private schools. I know Antrel Rolle went to South Dade and they did win a state title in 2013. I know South Dade has another big time DB recruit, DJ Ivey, who is committed to Miami. Ivey and Anderson are actually rated very close.

Richt has repaired the ties to the local high schools that Shannon and Golden destroyed. If Miami can find a QB this year, I think they're going to have a great year, which will translate into great recruiting every year.

FW, I think you are correct. Richt can recruit his butt off and we all know what happens when The U recruits. I bet Florida and FSU are extremely worried about what is going on in Miami.

I think FSU will be fine. There's room for both FSU and Miami to be at the top. UF is a different story. They're going to drop. McElwain is not a good coach (IMO) and they're recruiting is starting to go down too. The SEC East can only stay down for so long, and if it gets its act together, UF won't be able to go 8-4 and win the East.

From a recruiting "expert" on a Miami board

Big corner, has some ability. Thought he would go to a bigger school than Tulane.
