He doesn't always root for a team, but when he does it's the wrong team. Go Russia my friends.

Re: USA Today on Tanner Lee
I wonder what the Husker fans are going to say after the 10th short pass that hits the shins of a running back or WR? The kid has a pretty deep ball, but anything under 15 yards he's about as accurate as my 7 year old with the ball.

I think that with the protection the Nebraska OL will provide Tanner will excel even on the short passes. Good luck to the kid. Roll Wave!!!

We asked him to move on since he did not fit our new system. I wish him well.windywave wrote:Roll Wave? He left us.MNAlum wrote:I think that with the protection the Nebraska OL will provide Tanner will excel even on the short passes. Good luck to the kid. Roll Wave!!!
Re: USA Today on Tanner Lee
The truth will lie somewhere between the kid that got hit on every play and was very inaccurate at Tulane and the next coming of Tom Brady that they are expecting.

Which is interesting following the sbnation article about Fritz and how he changes his system to fit the players.MNAlum wrote:We asked him to move on since he did not fit our new system. I would say he does change the system, but only within limits. Tanner was outside of his limits.gerryb323 wrote:Which is interesting following the sbnation article about Fritz and how he changes his system to fit the players.

Agreed. We played last year starting our now fifth string quarterback. Didn't need much of a passing threat to win a couple more games. And we didn't have much of a running threat from the quarterback either.windywave wrote:Tanner stays and we were in a bowl game last yearCT Wave wrote:I would say he does change the system, but only within limits. Fritz wanted no part of Tanner. You thought Couillette looked bad running the option?windywave wrote:Tanner stays and we were in a bowl game last yearCT Wave wrote:I would say he does change the system, but only within limits. Tanner wouldn't have lasted 3 games taking hits running the option.windywave wrote:Passing cough cough passingml wave wrote:Fritz wanted no part of Tanner. Wasted bytes. I don't care what Lee does at NU. I only care what happens to Tulane.
Personally, I do not believe he has the "IT" factor to be a great QB, but that is just my opinion. Three good blitz hits in the B10 and we'll see what he is made of.

I will laugh my balls off if he has a typical 3 INT game against Arkansas State and the Huskers have to white knuckle a win at home.Rotorooter wrote:Wasted bytes. I don't care what Lee does at NU. I only care what happens to Tulane.

If you really think that, I'll just point out that Couillette did and he was equally ill-suited to do so.gerryb323 wrote:But he wouldn't have been running the....
