Yeah, and Al M. didn't even mention where he played his college ball.

And now the Chiefs let him go and Cairo is a free agent and can sign with any team after his injury heals.

The life and career of a placekicker is far more fickle than any other position on a football team, save punter.

I heard a story about Ed Murray and his time with Detroit. His rookie year he did just about everything imaginable, including being named Pro Bowl MVP. At the start of the next year he arrives to training camp. HC calls him in, tells him essentially that all those great things were the previous year does not count for anything in the new year, and that he has to start from scratch, from the coach's standpoint.

Wish Cairo a speedy recovery, and a new place to call home.

San Diego may be a landing spot, and wouldn't that be interesting with a rival.

They'll be back there soon. Whether they're good enough to be a rival is the question. I hope for better for Cairo.

Hey, at least several pro broadcasters have been caught doing the same the past few weeks! And they may go back crawling to SD after the attendance the first few weeks in Tad Gormley West. I mean, heck, Tulane is rivaling their attendance figures!

Would be hilarious (and just) if they moved back.

The only reason it's better to be on the Bears than on the Browns is that after games, Cairo can hang at Shedd and/or Natural History Museum and then head out to a Blackhawks game.

There is also a museum of medical history up by Lincoln Park. Has an iron lung on display, also an old fluoroscope used to look at feet in shoes to see if they fit. Also ancient devices used centuries ago that were predecessors to modern surgical instruments. On lakeshore drive, next door to a consulate.

I believe it is the Polish Consulate. If you go there you can stroll a few blocks to the Chicago Historical society.
