Massey poll (summation of all polls) has us at 62 out of 130.
Hey tjtlja (not picking on you) ya think we're better than 2 years ago?

Ever notice some posters (nobody in particular) don't come around as much after wins?

Btw, that ranking puts us ahead of 4 teams from both the ACC and Big 10, 3 teams from the mighty SEC and two from both the P12 and B12.

As of today the AAC has 3 ranked teams - tied with the SEC, and tied with the Big XII in the Coaches' Poll. But XII has 4 ranked in the AP. The rest of the G5 (or as some people are saying, the G4) has 1 ranked team combined.

There's an obvious talent gap between our conference and the 4 other non-autonomy conferences, so the AAC's P6 campaign isn't looking too crazy to outsiders now.

Yes, I have noticed that tendency!

We are definitely much better than we were two years ago. I was out of town this past weekend, but felt great for everyone associated with Tulane. Let's keep this thing going one game at a time. A perfect weekend for me would have been the Astros sweeping today and a friggen missed extra point being made, but it was a terrific weekend.

I had the perfect football trifecta weekend, with my high school winning a huge rivalry game in a massive blowout Friday night, Tulane winning in a massive blowout Saturday, and my NFL team pulling an upset win today. Good times!

I was so impressed with how our team came out to play Saturday at 10 am. They had a choice to come to play or not. They did.

Tulsa had a choice to come to play or not. They did not.

We have a fairly well disciplined team that is a product of good coaching. This is a welcomed change and we are already seeing dividends.

Keep up the good, hard work, fellas!

As someone pointed out, if we take care of business this week, we would be 4-2 and facing a top 15 team making it the biggest game in Yulman's short history.

Where did Massey have us at the beginning of the year? 105 or thereabouts?

I forgot to add Jewett and crew scrimmaging today. That would have been the cherry on top. Think that may get the juices flowing (lol).

The best part of this is if we keep playing well recruiting will get better, and then we are on our way to sustained success.

I'm not 100% certain, but I think it was somewhere around there.
