One More Shout Out....
One More Shout Out....
To GC for converting the fourth down play after sitting on the bench for three months except for PK holding. Who likes riding the pine but it has to be especially tough for him after having been a starter. Talk about delivering under pressure and then going back to his regular role of signaling in plays without complaint.

I was going to say, play of the game. Huge.Baywave1 wrote:To GC for converting the fourth down play after sitting on the bench for three months except for PK holding. Baywave, no question about it. It was such a well thrown ball. I think Mooney caught it. He has also had a coming out party the past two weeks.

I'll give a shout out to big Rob Kennedy....saved the game.

Here's one to Keyshawn McLeod. Played most of the game after Leglue got banged up & couldn't stay in.

Dontrell had a nice game and is now 3 yards away from becoming our first 1000 yard rusher since Andre Anderson in 2009.

It's insane it's been that long considering we have had two other backs who are currently starting in the NFL since then.tulaneoutlaw wrote:Dontrell had a nice game and is now 3 yards away from becoming our first 1000 yard rusher since Andre Anderson in 2009.

Who put the Hit on the ECU back who then fumbled out of the endzone that lead to 4th and goal? That was the hit of the game. Changed his direction in mid air.

Great hit. Wasn’t a fumble

GC pass brought back the memory of the Jeff Curtis completion to Dawson in 1998 against USM.

Can't believe I didn't realize this before now, but Rod Teamer leads the nation in sacks (11) despite the sack drought we had before last week. Keep it up Rod, we could use a few more this week.

Uh, there's no way that's possible.tulaneoutlaw wrote:Can't believe I didn't realize this before now, but Rod Teamer leads the nation in sacks (11) despite the sack drought we had before last week. Keep it up Rod, we could use a few more this week.

See for yourself. The stats may be incorrect, but it's on ESPN's main stat page.
Re: One More Shout Out....
As per the stats on Tulane's site he doesn't have any sacks.
We deserve so much better
Re: One More Shout Out....
Tackle for loss maybe? If you click his name he's credited with 4 sacks vs ECU.

Re: One More Shout Out....
This seems way more plausible. I'd be surprised if our team has more than 11 sacks.wavedom wrote:As per the stats on Tulane's site he doesn't have any sacks.

Re: One More Shout Out....
I didn't think he had been that active sacks wise which is why I was surprised to see hie name listed at the top. ESPN's stats are usually reliable so I defaulted to them thinking maybe I'd just missed something. Would have been a good story, but after looking at Tulane's stats site, it seems there's clearly an error.
