I hope we didn't score too fast! Defense needs to step up!

Well, if we give up 30 yards per pop it won't take long...

Can't run into the line three times and punt. Be aggressive!

That was my beef with him, back when they were trying to avoid giving the job to Graf.OGSB wrote:Kelley is one of those announcers who gets excited when the other team does something.

Houston has no more timeouts left. 2:38 left, 3rd and 8 Tulane

Let's make the clock run, then score a TD to beat them in the reverse of the Vegas odds.

Matson was the worst though. At least Kelley got excited both ways. Matson sounded like he was perpetually rooting for the other team.Roller wrote:That was my beef with him, back when they were trying to avoid giving the job to Graf.OGSB wrote:Kelley is one of those announcers who gets excited when the other team does something.

But at least, once we got "real" TV, I could sync the radio. At the beginning, unable to sync, I was forced to listen to ESPN's Principal Skinner Tribute Announcer.

See the main board thread about the game.pearlriverwave wrote:you should have been at the game, one of the most exciting crowds and game in a while. Has anyone heard any about graham.
Glad to hear the crowd was "exciting" but it certainly wasn't large, that was evident on TV. I'd hope the kind of game we played would make for some excitement.
