The definition of overkill
Takes only five words: College Football Playoff Selection Show. Are they kidding us? FOUR hours worth. There are 4 teams folks. Do they really think that much time is needed to announce the selections and discuss them?! Get real. The best decision I made to not watch ANY more college football past the 0:00 time remaining in the 4th quarter of the Tulane vs SMU game last weekend was a good one. Why bother since I don't really care who was involved in any "rivalry games", conference championship games, any bowl games or playoff scenario.

Re: The definition of overkill
ESPN announced another batch of layoffs last week yet they fill half the day with experts and analysis when they could be showing, oh, I don't know, sports?

And arena football.
But your point is still entirely valid, even though ESPN has made it clear they aren't listening.

I used to love Australian Rules Football, especially after I attended a match In Melbourne, Aus. Pretty kick butt.

Another example of their demise - Mike and Mike. Granted, even I felt it getting a bit stale, but still the better of the sports talking head shows to listen to.
They broke them up to create 2 diluted products someone competing with each over.

I think those come on still, just in the middle of the night. I was watching them when the baby wouldn't sleep through the night.GretnaGrn wrote:That, too. FS1 appears to have the rights to it.
