Anthony Lewis, Jr., Maurice Robinson II and Charles Coleman III are also visiting this weekend per twitter. Check out Maurice Robinson's offer list...small but very impressive.
This one belongs to the Wave.

Re: Dorian Camel
Charles Coleman is a DE/TE/LB from Jemison HS in Huntsville, AL, listed at 6'4" 240. He has an offer from WKU as well. On film he looks like a big DE who could grow into a tackle.TU23 wrote:Anthony Lewis, Jr., Maurice Robinson II and Charles Coleman III are also visiting this weekend per twitter. Anthony Lewis is a TE/WR from Murphy HS in Mobile. He has at least 15 FBS offers, with some P5 schools in that mix.
Robinson is also from Murphy HS and is a dual-threat QB/ATH. 247 lists him with offers from LSU and Alabama. I doubt those are active offers. He is very fast and is probably a recruit for another position.

Re: Dorian Camel
Looking at Camel's Hudl film, it's kind off an odd selection of plays. At 6'1" and 180 lbs., you would figure that he would play free safety at the next level, but there are very few plays where Camel plays the ball as a FS. He is either blitzing, playing the run or on the edge playing man on a WR. He looks to have good instincts and doesn't mind hitting people, but there is not much data on playing the pass as a FS. He does look fast, though.
Maurice Robinson has an offer from Florida and LSU. It looks like he is traveling with his teammate to Tulane, so who knows how serious he is.
Thank you, waverider, for posting the camel hump day commercial. Cracks me up every time I see it.

Roto, from your description Camel sounds like a LB

Unless he puts on 30+ lbs, at 6' 1" and 180 he'll get killed at LB. I believe he is a good FS prospect, the point of my post is that there is very little FS-like plays on it.

Re: Dorian Camel
He ran in the 10.6 range in the 100m as a HS junior at 180 lbs. He is no LB.

Re: Dorian Camel
TU23, I presume you can only host visitor’s this weekend and next. Is that correct?TU23 wrote:Anthony Lewis, Jr., Maurice Robinson II and Charles Coleman III are also visiting this weekend per twitter. Check out Maurice Robinson's offer list...small but very impressive.
The kids that are committing and visiting are kids on the radar - more than I have ever seen. The coaches are doing a helluva job.
What are our chances with Josh Smith, Brumfield, Robinson, and Gibson? Do we have a shot at turning any of them?
Thanks

Re: Dorian Camel
Can he play the corner? That's the biggest need and he has the frame and the speed to make you wonder if he should be tried there. Fine pickup from every other angle.
