Postseason honors thread

Post by long green »

Here's a link to the advocates all Metro teams. Damien Tate and Macon Clark make the big school team for the defense, with Tate being named player of the year, repeating his honor from the TP's team.

Here the small school team, with Jamiran James the defensive player of the year.

Noticed this player from Curtis and wonder if he could be a walk-on for the Green Wave given the family ties?

We may have really scooped a lot of schools when we got Tate.

Yes. Juan's name and thumbnail sketch was interrupted by an ad so I guess I scrolled past him.

pretty much swept the top spot, defensively, this year. Still surprised he had no other "Big Programs" looking at him. I know about his size but still..........

I think he slides very naturally into the nickel or Swiss Army Knife role this year. I think Macon Clark gets time at a safety slot and at least one of the two corners gets a notable role. I wouldn't be surprised if Dorian Camel, the highest-rated of the five, has to wait to make an impact.

sounds like Tate could help as well on punts and/or kickoffs.
