Nothing better than a little speed at running back ...

It was nice to see them settle for a FG from 4 inches out with a minute and half to go for that backfire.windywave wrote:I do, the frick illiterates pissed it down their leglong green wrote: Meanwhile LSU... Who cares?

31-17 OU at half. Oklahoma has punted once.
They only managed 28 vs Tulane in the 1st half

Old Mo has swung. 31-24 and OU has done nothing so far in the 2nd.

Well, they kinda count the peach bowl as one of the big bowlsAO Sig wrote:UCF joins conference partner Tulane as the two teams who go undefeated without a chance to play in one of the big bowls, let alone the national championship.

Oklahoma’s wheels are coming off. 38-31 Georgia now.

Re: 2017-2018 Bowl season
Anyone else using the WatchESPN app to watch the Georgia/Oklahoma game, and have it quit at the start of the second OT? I verified my credentials are valid and my internet was fine, but the app said "unable to play content, try again later" for every stream available (I tried random basketball games, not just the CFP game feed). I'm thinking once it got to double OT, too many people logged on and their servers crashed.
I tried again a few minutes later and was able to get a very stuttery interview with Georgia's coach, so I knew they'd won.
On edit, yup, a little googling confirms they had outages at that time.

Ditto, Pete! I thought it was my internet service! I had to call for a refresh signal, but of course, took too long! Dangit!
I said to myself, if this happens during the overtime of a Saints playoff game, I'd have broken stuff all around me!

Mine didn't go out, but it might as well have. Kept freezing right before plays and then catching back up after the play was over. Maybe more frustrating than just being completely out.doncecco wrote:PeteRasche wrote:Anyone else using the WatchESPN app to watch the Georgia/Oklahoma game, and have it quit at the start of the second OT? Every once in awhile paying for cable has its advantages.

I actually saw an article the other day that the cold temps were effecting cable lines. Maybe that's why!TUPF wrote:Every once in awhile paying for cable has its advantages.

Except that I was streaming through FireStick, but ultimately, my internet service is from that same cable line, so I suppose...gerryb323 wrote:I actually saw an article the other day that the cold temps were effecting cable lines. Bama playing flat and not too smart ...
One positive from the game tonight when they introduced the Coaches going into the HOF and they mentioned Coach Brown and listed Tulane along with UNC and UT. A little national shout-out.

Also showed a stat right before half: Bama had their fewest yards on offense in a first half since 2008 vs. Tulane.
