Re: UCONN
I wasn't going to say anything earlier but it happened yet again... I'm wondering if the ball has an extra ounce of air today because it seems like every time Frazier drives, he loses the handle and the ball bounces above his head. He's recovered most of them but it caused him to miss opportunities at open driving lanes several times. And he's lost a couple of them.

Re: UCONN
Getting ugly now. Can't hit a three and can't score against their bigs (who aren't that good).

Wow, that's an NBA level continuation call for UConn.
Now down 13 and it's slipping away.
UConn gets EVERY rebound.

Re: UCONN
They are disrespecting Daniels, using his man to double Frazier in the post. We're so determined to get it to him down low, we're missing wide open Daniels.

Point of emphasis: beating the zone or rebounding?PeteRasche wrote:Wow, that's an NBA level continuation call for UConn.

Using big words is not a personal attack

Yes. We are so stagnant. Take 5 seconds to break press, hold up top, try to go down low to man who isn’t open and settle for a jumper.PeteRasche wrote:They are disrespecting Daniels, using his man to double Frazier in the post. Jalen Adams is just killing us. Ona Embo can't slip their high screens and our big men can't stay with him on the switch.

Re: UCONN
I don't understand our repeated lack of urgency when down multiple baskets in the final 90 seconds. Most teams are fouling. We're not only not fouling, but we're playing so far off our man that they don't even start the five second count.

Re: UCONN
It was obvious that Slater couldn't cover him. He gave him so much space that the rest didn't even start the 5 second count, and when Slater finally stepped up, Adams blew by him and went uncontested to the rim.TUPF wrote:Jalen Adams used us.
