He can at least pad his resume with "quarterbacked the worst season in Nebraska football since 1961." As bad as cj was, Tanner could not say the same for his tenure at Tulane.

Confirmed what was expected, Tanner was the starter that got two coaches fired. Riley out at Nebraska.

I wonder if Alabama needs a quarterback with his talents?

Talking about Lee around here is like the third rail in generating visceral reactions. Published yesterday, it is a reasonably dispassionate analysis of his situation and prospects at UN and NFL.

Nothing there we didn’t already know at Tulane. At 23 in college, whatever potential he had has had ample time to show.

I'm done evaluating talent if Tanner Lee ever plays a down in the NFL. I've seen enough to know he shouldn't carry a clipboard in Canada.

Mike Detillier ( if you're not from here, don't ask, you're better off) said Lee reminds him of Ryan Griffin. Of course he does. Tanner Lee on his best day is not nearly as good as RG was.

Listening to Detillier defend Orgeron over the offensive coordinator debacle today was pretty funny.

It's going to be downright hysterical the day Detillier starts to distance himself from Orgeron.

This has to be a joke, seriously. Nice kid, good arm. Mediocre (at his best) QB. I'm in total agreement with NJwave.

Me three. Can you just imagine the first time an NFL Defensive Coordinator throws a “welcome to the NFL” defensive set at the kid. Getting snowed under by the Rutgers defensive line a couple of years ago would look like a walk in the park in comparison.

SB Nation I believe had an article about him declaring for the NFL that had some sound reasoning... he had no place at Nebraska.. he had no shot at transferring again... so it was his best option. Some idiot scout said he liked his size and arm strength while at the Manning camp some time ago.. same dipshiat obviously didn't watch the 2017 football season.

Lee led all P5 conferences in INTs.. was 2nd in the nation to some dude from Central Michigan... and it's not like he faced the creme de la creme of defenses.

I'll lay down odds that he will throw an interception in the game. Any takers?

I say let's forget about poor Tanner. If he had gone anywhere but Tulane under CJ he might have prospered. I feel sorry for him and his family; they had such great dreams. I sincerely hope that some good things happen to him. Continuing to call him "Mr. Pick Six" does Tulane no good and that is what this forum is all about. I urge the moderators to delete all Tanner Lee threads; they are no longer relevant to Tulane - only to those who love to beat a downed horse.
