Josh Bates is tossing a good game. The only Lamar base runner was a 3rd inning walk with 1 out.

With 1 out in B4, Lamar switches pitcher (starter gave 2 hits, 3 walks, and 4 Ks)

Pellerin takes the mound for the Wave to start the 6th.
Bates pitched 5 innings with no hits and no runs. Walked 2, struck out 2.

Whatever works.

Witherspoon has 4 hits tonight, so far. Johnson has 3.

We've got ourselves a midweek starter, for sure. Green struggled a bit and gave them a freebie, but other than that, our pitching did well tonight. After 8.2 innings, we've already got 13 hits and a 6-run lead. Lamar may not be the greatest, but Tulane has done a good job on the diamond tonight.

I want to retire to NOLA just so I can express opinions to the umpires daily.

3rd out on a questionable call. Ump says Adames still had his foot on the base, but he'd have had to be Plasticman.

But with our lead, no sense to argue it.
