Parry Nickerson is fast

Post by sr »

Parry runs a 4.32 currently tied with two others for the fastest DB time. He also looked like he pulled up at the finish.

Ties for the fastest 40 at the combine with a 4.32! Also did okay with the bench & weighed in over 180. Knee issues won't keep him from getting his name called now.

Yeah, he'll probably be a pound heavier by the time training camp starts.

with those numbers looks like Parry will get drafted after all. Too many positives to pass up.

It looks like he hurt himself, though. He was limping after the sprint. Either a hammy or the knee. But I believe he'll be drafted and will make a roster. I'm a Parry Nickerson fan. He'll be missed next season in our defensive backfield.

Yeah, don't believe he participated in any subsequent running drills after the 40.

He did pull up injured and didn't do anymore drills. Hopefully he's good to go by our Pro Day.

English please. Or perhaps you meant "What a simply incredible player". However, Parry will never see the field in an NFL game.

Why do you say he will never be a participant in an NFL game. If you know something, please don't tease us - let it all hang out.

Assuming no knee or hamstring injuries, I'll take that bet. Best cover CB we've ever had.

A new mock draft at NFL Network has Aruna and Nickerson both going in the 5th round. I think Nickerson will go a little higher because of his 40 time, but what do I know.

Aruna is a project and Parry has those knee issues. But both are worth a shot which could really pay off.

The issue with going higher is it means more signing bonus money which I'd guess teams would be reluctant to pay given his knees.

Daniel Jeremiah at NFL Network says Nickerson is worthy of a 2nd round pick. I can see that. He's a natural for the position and the 40 time may have put him over the top.
