Dontrell really does fit that New Age RB that we see in the NFL these days. Durable, decent speed, can catch the ball, etc.

The Saints could use a 3rd back to keep the top 2 fresh. Hilliard is one of the 3 draft prospects close to N.O. that might be worth a late draft pick. The other two are Darrell Williams of LSU & Ito Smith of USM. IMO, of course.

some Saints fans were opining that Ade Aruna could be a smart later round pick for the Saints.

That 40 time is better than Matt Forte's. I think Forte ran a 4.42, which was second to Chris Johnson and better than Darren McFadden. Hillard isn't as good as Forte, but he is better than Rob Kelly and Darkwa. I think he gets drafted in the 5th and makes a roster.
