I expected a letdown today. Shockers came to play. A couple of plays not made at first base opened the floodgates. That wasn’t our only problem — most everything went WSU’s way.

Cant really say it’s “disappointing”. I think by now we can all agree our best chance to win every series is for Roper and Gillies to go 7+ each start. Offense needs to do its part by providing run support, regardless who’s pitching.

I disagree. I’ve seen too many post over the years deleted and locked that were “plainly tounge in cheek.” The title of this thread is tasteless and just sucks. The word hate is uncalled for and as I said earlier, it is not in line with the spirit of the board rules. Besides football, the emotion or bashing as you put it really indicates how many people actually care about Tulane baseball. You wouldn’t see this at a lot of schools where baseball is a non factor. Our fans are disappointed and rightfully so. But “hate” and “sucks” in the subject line is pathetic.

Friday. Used to be Friday and Sunday but after Gillies’ two straight 1-0 losses, his last two starts haven’t been as sharp and we still can’t hit opponents’ Sunday starters.
