Avengers Infinity War

Unread post by PeteRasche »

Already having blown away every pre-sale record out there (broke the previous 24-hour record in 6 hours), reviews are now officially out and it's mostly very positive. The only common knock of those who didn't give it a glowing review is what was to be expected when you put somewhere around 30 main characters in a single movie: that it's just too much crammed into a single flick. But so far the majority of reviews (per Rotten Tomatoes) are overwhelmingly positive, with Forbes magazine's money guy projecting it will be very close to beating The Force Awakens for largest opening weekend both domestically and worldwide, and expecting it to likely become the all-time box office king in both markets before all is said and done, possibly even approaching the never-before $2 BILLION mark (domestic).

Got my ticket for Friday night.

Not a bad way to be, when 6 of the all-time top 10 are already from your house and you're wondering where this 7th one will fall.

No wonder ESPN still exists.  8)

ESPN generates more revenue in a year than all 6/7 of those movies combined have ever made.

I like movies and superheroes and movies about superheroes. My favorite was probably Winter Soldier but I'm not completely caught up with all of them either.

So I kinda guessed right about the ending and I'm very happy to say I nailed my prediction (in a general way) about the end credits scene...
