I wouldn't let any of our starters throw more than 75 pitches in the UCF series. It will be interesting to see who we throw Tuesday. As I posted above the original plan was to throw Johnson against ULL if we won the first two this weekend. That all got changed when Keegan got sick. He may start Keegan Tuesday and then he could make the first start on Wednesday in the conference tournament. On the face of it it makes a lot of sense. I just think Keegan needs some rest so he can be at his best which is what we'll need to pull off the miracle in Clearwater.

I definitely agree with you. Gillies will have to be in good enough shape to throw a complete game shutout win in the tournament. Another pitcher will have to throw the game of his life and hold an opponent to 1 or 2 runs (and WIN) so that Jewitt does not have to dip into his bullpen too much. Two wins gets Tulane to the bracket final round. And then, hopefully, another gigantic miracle will occur, and Tulane will play in the tournament championship game. This is the only way left to get it done now.

ESPN3 has the ULL game vs Tulane on their schedule. No mention of this on Tulane's website.

The official site lists CST as the TV provider. I would think anyone in the South market will get it if they have Cox.

The next thread about 2018 Tulane baseball is the one that says (that town in Nebraska) clinched.

I think there would be several more before that one like:
We won our first conference tourney game
Holy smokes, we're headed to the tourney final
Wave conference tourney champs
How TF did we make a regional?
Holy S#@T we won a regional game!
Jewett for coach of the year?
Is Jewett the best Tulane baseball coach ever?
Astros hire Jewett, now we're F'd
Wandering around somewhere in a matchup zone

gerryb323, I applaud your ability to see the future. :thumbsup: And if every one prior to the last one were to come to pass, I think I could stomach the last one.

Rain possibilities -
Special Tropical Weather Outlook
NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL
745 AM EDT Tue May 22 2018

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

1. A broad surface low centered just east of Belize is producing a
large area of cloudiness and showers extending from the northwestern
Caribbean Sea across Cuba into the Florida peninsula. While strong
upper-level winds and dry air aloft are expected to limit
organization during the next couple of days, some gradual
subtropical or tropical development is possible late this week while
the system moves slowly northward into the central or eastern Gulf
of Mexico. Regardless of development, locally heavy rainfall is
possible across western Cuba, the Cayman Islands, and much of
Florida during the next several days. For more information on the
heavy rain threat, please see products issued by your local weather
office. The next Special Tropical Weather Outlook on this system
will be issued by 800 PM EDT.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent.

TU is up 9 to 2 in middle of 4th inning. Grant Matthews has another multiple hit game for the 8th straight time.

TU had 2 men on in top of 4th with no outs. Luke Glancy hits a long drive to center, the TU runners ran, the center UH outfielder catches the ball, and then turns a 8 - 4 - 6 -3 triple play. (Somebody has to tell our players how to run the bases).
