AAC TOURNEY VS Houston, part deux

Post by NJwave »

We start the game with an error, 2 walks and the based are loaded for Davis who promptly doubles. 3-0 early hole.

Let's see how we respond.

Top 3 still 4-0. Looks like we are completely deflated from yesterday's meltdown. I'd like to see how many blown saves we have on the season. We blew both against UCF and yesterday as well. Most teams don't lose games they lead after 7 innings. We seem to do it every night. It must get fixed.

7-0. Bates in for Johnson. Johnson 2 2/3 innings pitched, 5 hits, 4 walks, a hit batsman, 7 runs, 5 earned.

They have the bases loaded and two outs. Bates gets out of it.

Gozzo with a bunt single for our first hit of the day followed by an Owen single followed by an Artiguez RBI single. 7-1.

For us fans? God knows those of us diehards that have suffered for long enough need it.

7-3 still only 1 out and runners on first and second.

After the 10 run comeback earlier this year, a comeback win here to crush the psyche of Houston would be utterly glorious.

Agreed. I hate them. They won the league and came in ranked so have to assume they are a lock for a regional but they don't have a great RPI.

In other words, break for the pitcher who is laboring.

7-4 after Hoese single, runners on the corners 2 out.

7-5, Glancy joins the hit parade.

7-5 top 4. It's a game again.

Win or lose, got to be proud of the kids for continuing to fight. 7-0 in an elimination game. They could have mailed it in.

1st and second nobody out. Bates 3 hits, 2 walks and a wild pitch in 1/3 inning.

Not sure who we can go to, but got to try somebody else.

Sam B. enters..............................................24 hours too late.

I imagine for a tournament game there's a run rule in effect?
Victory is never permanent
