Destin Dotson, LHP 6'-6" drafted in the 12th round.

Does he go pro, or attends TU? :-D

It's great to see us recruiting kids that are good enough to be drafted but boy has the the draft hurt us this year. Our top two pitching recruits are not coming, Sam B graduated and even McAffer turned pro. Latham sure has his work cut out for him.

I think (hope) Latham can pull a rabbit or three out of his hat

Other than Dotson, who is the other top pitching prospect?

$300k plus college tuition. According to Jim Callis (baseball writer), Dotson's secondary pitches need a lot of work, so I hope he knows what he's doing. He signed for the equivalent of the last pick in the 5th round.
This one belongs to the Wave.

My neighbor is Demar Dotson, from Louisiana. I wonder if they are related, not that it really matters at this stage since Destin won't be wearing the Olive and the Blue...

(Demar is a big guy too - 6'9", 315 lbs. Offensive Tackle.)
