Are the dugouts side by side or is one behind home plate?

When he throws it over the plate he's really good.

KC picked a kid I was advising in the draft a few years ago in the 36th round. They flew him up to Kaufmann and let him hit on the field for the GM and Scouting Director (neither of whom had seen him play live). He hit 9 homers in 25 swings and they offered him $100k....as a college junior in the 36th round. They signed their first 20 picks and 27 of their first 30, so it wasn't like they had a ton of extra draft money lying around. If they think he's worth a 6 figure bonus, they'll offer him one. Anything is possible.

It was an easy decision, the kid just handled it with aplomb and class showing his maturity

Folks raised him right with that response. Well done, son.
