Re: Number 8?
Major role in what was probably the best HS football game I've ever seen.
4 rushing TD's and 3 PAT kicks along with some nice pass break-ups as a CB against a D-1 WR talent and throw in a few KO returns and punt returns.

Oh, and then he and family went to the Tulane game the next day.

Re: Number 8?
It’s going to be tough to hold onto him, but also good to see we are now recruiting kids that get Alabama’s attention.

This guy is one of the keys to this class. He is not only a great player, but plays WR. This would be a tremendous blow.

I like us going after the best though.tjtlja wrote:This guy is one of the keys to this class. He is not only a great player, but plays WR. This would be a tremendous blow.

Tulane has been on the kid since he was a freshman. It's his dream school. Losing him would be a big surprise.
Re: Number 8?
Wave-em-in, I hope you are right. He is a tremendous player and certainly will contend as the prize recruit of this class no matter if he has one star or ten stars.

Re: Number 8?
3 TD's and 3 PAT's in a loss to powerhouse #4 in 6A Escambia High (Emmit Smith's alma mater).
btw, Navarre was #5 in 6A coming in.
I hope Tulane can pull in Dante's teammate, DL Jordan Jefferson.

Having a good night mostly by running jet sweeps.
Great instincts.
2TD's in the 1st half.. Dude is FAST. We missed out on a good one.

Can we put something at least in the title of this thread that "Number 8" refers to the 2019 recruiting class?

Colorado State. Wright ran for 1 TD and caught a pass for another TD; also returned 2 punts for a 9.5 yd average return. That all was in State's loss to Colorado last night.

9 touches, 150 yards, 2 TD's.
Also became a very effective decoy as the game progressed.

Re: Number 8?
Tulane was his dream school and he ended up at Colorado State? Weird.
Re: Number 8?
We asked him to play CB...he said no...we then mutually agreed to part ways. One of the few big miscalculations we’ve had under Fritz.
This one belongs to the Wave.
Re: Number 8?
Didn’t Bradwell turn down Louisville because they wanted him to play RB and Fritz offered him at QB?
Mistakes even out over time.
Also FWIW, Bradwell was two stars out of high school. I think Rivals didn’t even rank him in the Florida Top 300.

MWC co-FOY along with Boise St QB.

btw, the "little" brother had a nice sophomore HS season.
He'll be courted by the sec more heavily. I'm not sure his interest in academics matches Dante's.
