Women's VB into the Elite 8!

Post by PeteRasche »

4 Game win over Cal Baptist tonight!

We host Valparaiso next weekend, who beat Miami of Ohio tonight.

BTW, Google found me:
Bracket: https://volleymob.com/32-team-nivc-fiel ... -thursday/
And
Results/recaps after matches end: https://www.womensnivc.com/news

Three other AAC schools made this tourney BTW: Tulsa, USF, and Wichita State. All three have since been eliminated.

I just received an email from the Tulane Ticket office thanking me for buying bowl tickets by sending me five free tickets to the volleyball game on Thursday. I won't be able to attend as an out of towner, but if anyone knows anybody who'd like to go I'd be happy to forward them along. I'm sure the ladies would like any support they can get. Just send me a pm if interested.

Just a thought, but those of you out-of-towners who got VB tickets might call the Ticket Office and have them cancel your tickets and then reissue and donate to a school, hospital and etc. I sure the Ticket Office as a list of organizations that would appreciate the tickets.

Coach Barnes tweeted that #Tulane could host the semifinal, and possibly final, depending on the size of the crowds.. It would be nice to have home court advantage, throughout the tournament.

Set the AAC single season record for blocks when the 4th block tonight gave them 326 so far this year.

What struck me last night was how much more athletic than we were than Valpo at every position. Valpo stayed in it because they were so technically sound—-no mistakes. But all the explosiveness was on our side
