Navy still hanging around, down 7 in the 3rd Q. They should start passing like they did on us.

3 in a row for Army. There’s a Navy graduating class in danger of never having beaten Army.

Turnabout is fair play. Navy won 14 in a row before the Army 3.OGSB wrote:3 in a row for Army. There’s a Navy graduating class in danger of never having beaten Army.

Good lord. Army winning the next 11 won’t look good for the conference.
I don’t really have a dog in the fight, other than Navy as conference mates. To tell the truth, it’s kind of a depressing game as it ends the regular season and there aren’t other games to flip between. At least I enjoy bowl season (especially since we’re in it!)

I'm glad we beat Navy but I have to say it. Army stopped Navy running and didn't put 11 folks in the box to do it; so Abey couldn't continue his late passing push for the Heisman which he started in the Tulane game.

They put 11 in the box quite frequently. Abey just has bad games against armyBaywave1 wrote:I'm glad we beat Navy but I have to say it. It's probably my favorite game of the year. The outcome doesn't affect me, I have a team I pull for, the players are students first, the energy is awesomeOGSB wrote:Good lord. Army winning the next 11 won’t look good for the conference.

I get that. When the Yale/Harvard game came on a few weeks ago that’s was my early “primary” game. I watched Maine at Weber St last night, pulling for Maine for no other reason than we’ve played them before. But it’s still represents game over, man.windywave wrote:It's probably my favorite game of the year.
