No, Lutz has been one of the best kickers in the league

Saints wouldn’t have been as firmly in control if he makes them

Really feel bad for him although needed his help. Supposedly, Hebert made some idiotic, drunk comments about him on the post game (like go back to Tulane or Brazil).

Idiot.

Meanwhile in Philadelphia the kicker misses an XP, AN XP, that could have prevented going to OT, where the Eagles lost to Cowboys.

Spoken like a Saints fan. Since this is Tulane board, I'm really bummed he missed them and jeopardized his job.

Just missed a 52 yarder, not close either.
Made 37 and 45 yarders earlier.

I hurt for Cairo but if he had measured up in KC and elsewhere he wouldn't have been in Tampa missing kicks.

My understanding is that he did fine in KC until they had to replace him due to injury? I dont follow NFL, but I thought that was the narrative.

He did okay, not well enough that he should have had his job automatically returned to him.

Santos was really good in 2016, made 88% of his FG’s, the two years prior were just ok.
And then 2017 is when he got hurt and he just hasn’t been the same since. He’s made 75% this season, that’s like the bottom of the league.

Rough day for Cairo, but I knew this was coming when I saw the highlights this morning. Miss 4 FGs at home and you lose by 7, and I'm not sure Justin Tucker would survive that.
