Watching two people argue if Chicago or Atlanta is superior, is kind of like watching two D students fight over which one is more deserving of a D+?

I have far more experience in Atlanta than Chicago, but if I had to choose to live in one I'd choose Chicago. While I was underwhelmed by my vacation to Chicago, it is at least a place I "would" vacation. I'd never recommend anyone vacation in Atlanta. But then I consider the weather, which means I'd probably flip back to Atlanta. I hate the cold that much. Some people hate the heat. Which brings us back to TUPF's point. So much of the criteria is a) arbitrary b) specific to the person

So you're saying we shouldn't debate food or drink or music or movies or foreign tourist locations or... Aw hell, there shouldn't be an internet?

Not at all. We should debate all of them. But maybe with a bit more awareness that we need to both define—and argue in defense of—our criteria.

A frick you if you think Chicago is a D city especially because you admit you've never been here (except when you were a kid). Speaking of which, you opining on Chicago has as much validity as me on Pyongyang
