Down by 24 at the half, we now trail by 21, 6 minutes into the second half.

61-93. Final
Good job holding them to under 100 and not getting doubled up.
Only outscored by 12 in the 2nd half.

Easy win for UC. We still miss ROE.

What’s the deal with Zhang’s shoes? One gold and one blue?

Wait, didn’t Pete say the line was 31.5 points or am I imagining? Creepy.

I think it was 21.5?

While probably true, I dont think he’s making a 30 point difference. Oh, and a 30 point difference would still be a loss.

21.5 last night, dropped to 20 this morning, back to 23 at game time. Were I a gambler with no allegiance to Tulane, I'd have considered taking the cover, except once you get up in that lofty range you run the risk of losing on stupid garbage time play if the losing team's bench warmers drain a couple of threes while the leading team just tries to show off and turns it over repeatedly.

Just curious, did you think Tulane would win this game before the season with its "full" lineup? OSU beat UC there in the opener. Who else is going to do it? UH in season closer? Just curious.

BTW we play the conference defending champ and perennial NCAA team only once. Did it in the first game on the road and were beaten down. I'm not optimistic currently about the basketball team but from a single game perspective this is no different than football playing at OU in 2017 and OSU in 2018 in September. What happened after those games?

sorry, it was meant a bit tongue in cheek.

That said, we're playing a not quite ranked conference opponent, not a top 5 program. I'd hope we could have at least stayed competitive for more than 10 minutes.

This game only would be analogous to the Ohio State football game if we lost to Nicholls State prior.

In other words, you can't say, "this was an expected loss and we still could end up okay like the football team" because our basketball team, just before this game, lost to a team that was equivalent - okay, actually, worse than - a lower division tune-up game.

Agree, except I would say that we lost to a team that is MUCH worse than Nicholls in football.
