Good Juju for Mike Dunleavy

Unread post by gerryb323 »

He could use some help, and clearly these juju threads are working, at least according to '54. I'm just supporting Tulane and y'a'll are the crazy ones.

I haven't been to a basketball game in a long time. I just seemed to gravitate to other endeavors. I do however follow the Wave on TV and in the news media, and here of course. Anyway, I was wondering why Tulane made this hire when he first came on board (thought he was probably a little long in the tooth to mesh with today's college scene). However, I was willing to give him a chance. And for a while it was not so good. But last year roundball seemed to have made a turn for the better. But it seems as though last year, rather than a catapult to better things the Wave, has fallen off somewhat. There is time yet to jumpstart the season with 2 months yet to play, but I'm not so sure this is possible. We will see. Any way, good luck to Dunleavy and the Wave for the remainder of this year.

BTW, beware ML, --, or whatever you want to call him. He will ride you. Just keep the faith.

BTW pt2. Who is your favorite Wave basketball player of all time? Mine is Jim Kerwin. Man, that guy could shoot the rock. With Phil Hicks in a close second.

One more thing. I don't have any problem with the term juju. 8)

So we lost to a ranked team? No shame in that.

Haha. At least we have humor. Nobody can take that away.

Time for some tough choices to be made.
I think you missed the whole point of this thread.

Don't worry, if you don't know, it's not worth the time it would take someone to explain it.

It makes me sad that the only way I hear of some of these schools is when Tulane loses to them. Learning about bama a&m, new Jersey tech institute, etc etc. because of a loss is a bummer.
