thanks doc, I had forgotten that Williams and Thompson were on the team at the same time. Maybe because the big scandal occurred as soon as Thompson was gone. That event tended to cloud everything that went on before.

that said, Ned Fowler had some pretty good runs while they were there, unlike the case here.

Ned Fowler was probably the best X & O coach Tulane has had other then Cliff Wells who along with Adolph Rupp were the only 2 real basketball coaches in the old SEC. Most schools had football coaches or other personnel coaching basketball after WWII.

Yup. And a reflective stripe too. We live in the boonies with no sidewalks and no streetlights. I’ve ended up diving into the ditches during evenings twice to avoid oncoming traffic. It happened during DST.
