University of California - Riverside thread

Post by BC Wave »

Weather looking a bit better for Friday night
Iffy for Saturday
Good for Sunday

But a bit cold - in the 50’s to low 60’s.
Cal Riverside ain’t Santa Barbara (will post season results to date)

But somewhat cool that we play the Highlanders on St. Patrick’s Day.

They gave up 52 runs in two games. Team batting average after this weekend may be best in the country. Is MD coaching their defense?

I honestly can't recall seeing a baseball score in the 30s. Ever.

guess you didn't look into Texas Southern before we played them.. they lost a three game series to New Mexico State 20-2, 24-8 and 38-6.. we managed 13 against them

For anyone interested, I just posted our podcast with Travis Jewett. Talks for ~30 minutes about the club culture, turning things around, and where he wants to go.

You can stream here or download on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.

Just had a chance to listen to the TJ episode. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I got some serious Macho Man Randy Savage vibes, mixed in with some hippie spirituality. Definitely an interesting listen if you haven't already checked it out.
