More proof that the first three words babies in Philadelphia learn are: Momma, Dadda, and Boooooo.

Two fans, out of a record opening day crowd. Yup, that’s us.

Or should I say if you can’t take the heat, play in Atlanta.

Just like when they say "protests today outside the ...." and social media blows up and news sites write about it but in reality it was 12 people marching. Social media and fake news hype can make anything sound like an epidemic if it goes viral enough.

Remember a few weeks ago when "all the Marvel fans" were revolting and hate-bombing the Rotten Tomatoes "want to see it" polls about "Captain Marvel" before it came out, causing RT to shut down that portion of their site and supposedly causing Marvel to make contingency plans for mostly removing her from upcoming "Avengers Endgame"? Turns out "all the Marvel fans" were a couple dozen "we want our superheros male and white" butt-hurt fanboys and Marvel's laughing all the way to (as of this writing) almost $940,000,000.

to further your partial thread jack, did you read the story about the right wing "pundit" who called for a boycott of Captain Marvel because of the liberal agenda/man hating the movie spewed. I must have dozed off during the part of the movie that happened because I sure don't remember any kind of left wing, pro woman agenda in the flick.. and he sure succeeded with his boycott call, as you've demonstrated by quoting the box office figures

Harper hits a 465 ft. blast in his second game as a Phillie. Phil’s beat Atlanta to go 2-0.

We’ll keep him. 8)

Counts the same as a 350 foot one. 8)

He's got the same number of HRs as Reds non roster invitee Derrick Dietrich (and DD's was a three run game winner)

I'm with you, TUPF. I watched Harper hit that home run, and like the Braves announcer said, "If there had been a roof on this place, it would have blown off". Harper got a curtain call and ingratiated himself with the Phillie fans for a long time. I predict he will be a great success this year and for many more to come. Go Phillies!

I know Philadelphia has a reputation but it’s pretty simple, really. Work your @ss off, take no plays off, do what you say you are going to do, don’t be a prima donna.
