Fly out to CF, runner attempts to go to 3rd, then realizes he can’t make it, but Owen back throws, and runner is out at 2nd.

End of 4, all tied up at 6.

For the 5th straight inning, Houston lead off hitter gets on, this time via walk.

Dangerous batter up next, just a deep fly ball out.

Man on 1st, 1 out.

Tulane has the shift on, give up a 2 out double, then strikes out the final batter.

After 6, tied up at 6.

Gutsy job by Roper keeping us in it and eating innings.

Houston closer in, and gets a ground ball to end the inning (Graff says great defensive play).

Tulane 7-6 middle of the 7th.

Roper at 108 pitches. Season in a nutshell. 1 run lead bottom 6 and no idea who to go to. Leaves him out there to face top of their order. Says so much.

Retires first 2 and gives up back to back singles. Cambell in.

After getting 2 easy outs, Roper gives up 2 singles, 1st and 3rd 2 outs..

Tulane pitching change.

Great effort by Roper, even without his best stuff (according to Graff).

Campbell in to pitch.

This late in the year knowing we have no bullpen to trust maybe roll the dice and go to Solesky? Could always use Bates tomorrow (the team ERA leader that never pitches).

I give up on trying to figure out pitching changes.

Bedgood in for Niemann, gets a single.

For something we’ve never seen this year, Tulane hits a Houston batter...

Next batter, SAC bunt, out at 1st, Man at 2nd, 1 out.
