Sneak peek- Tulane

Post by RI WAVE »

An Auburn look at their upcoming season. At least they are showing some respect for the potential this squad brings to the contest in 2019.

If Tulane wins, Malzahn does not finish the season. Book it.

Sure would like to see this happen- a "W" - not Malzahn losing his job.
- quality depth at alot of positions for the first time in a long time.
- Many things have to "go right" for Tulane, and it is a long shot.

This has been the life of a Greenwave Fan for many years, glimmer of hope is all we need.

It will be fun to watch the new O philosophy, after the first game, perhaps some new wrinkles?
How the D and O fare against SEC caliber talent.

A barometer for the rest of the year.

It is why you play the game. You never know how that pigskin will bounce.

And I will be there! An Auburn friend, and former great football player there, is getting me tickets. He lives in my neighborhood in Sandestin and is my regular golfing partner. Evidently there won't be a lot of demand for tickets since they are only playing Tulane...a warmup practice....GO WAVE!!!

Can’t wait to go. Another SEC stadium to check off the list.

Favorite of all time was Alabama..

You have to like that we play them the week after they travel to Oregon. Easy for them to be recovering and less focused on us that week.

I was there too, when we outplayed them most of the game, but lost because of special teams and their great returner.

My guess would be every single Tulane fan who attends.

In seriousness though, in all my years in Alabama I never heard whether opponents who win there try it and/or succeed. I'm guessing it's surrounded by security (which might just be a volunteer brigade of angry, drunk good ol boys) when they lose so the opponent can't try it.
