Not sure which is worse, Ohio State trying to trademark "the" or LeBron trying to trademark "taco Tuesday".

A lot of us loved Taco Tuesday (as advertised) by Taco John's at the PX on FT Carson back in 2005-2006...buy one taco get one taco free

I'm sure Lebron thinks he did or he doesn't understand the spirit of copyright.

his explanation was he wanted to make sure he wouldn't get sued when he uses the expression for something.. that it was more of a fact finding effort with the USPTO.. of which I call "bullsheet" because that could have been a quick phone call by his attorney and not a patent/copyright filing

The term Taco Tuesday has been around since at least the 1980s in the Southwest. It was a marketing thing for at least a couple of northern New Mexico restaurants that my relatives frequented. BOGO tacos on Tuesdays.
